PRESENTATION OF THE INSTITUTE

The African Institute for Sustainable Development (IADD) was created in response to the major governance challenges in Africa, which limit sustainable and inclusive development. Despite its wealth of natural and human resources, ineffective governance practices are holding back the continent's socio-economic development. IADD aims to transform these obstacles into opportunities through training, research and inter-regional exchanges, strengthening the capacities of political decision-makers.
